Late one recent evening, we downed a PoE ring and found the Mystical Arbitor of Earth had shown up. Despite being on the wrong end of the zone and frickin wiping at the TJ gate (hey guys lets pull the dust triggers along for fun), we made it in there and got the MAoE down on the first try. PoEB access complete! Yiquert is an old woman! In other news, I actually made it to the Fennin kill this time, so I thought I would throw up some acshun shots of the event. 99% flawless run from beginning to end, except for some asshats training tables while we buffed for the Guardian. Too bad the asshats were in our guild or I could really open up on em. The ground rumbles as the Guardian of Doomfire collapses to the ground dead. Then a loud booming voice is heard saying, 'Come little mortals! Feel the chaos of the fires that flame the dark rage. Test yourselves against the might of my armies!' As the last of the army is defeated visions of endless burning flames intrude into your mind. Suddenly the visions ends as a call comes from just ahead saying, 'Prepare to meet your end at the hands of the Council of Fire!' A maddened call of endless fury erupts as a burning creature of pure destructions stands tall before you. The creature then speaks in the loud booming voice of immense power saying, 'You are fools to have come this far. Prepare to tremble at the might of Doomfire!' Loud cries of hopelessness echo throughout the burning lands. The creatures of Doomfire call out to their master, Fennin Ro the Tyrant of Fire, for his dead body now lies at the feet of the mighty adventurers. Flames begin to surround your body. You feel them moving around you, but your body does not burn. Suddenly the flames begin to coalesce in your hands.

Further affirming the fact that all the time we spend/spent in Vex Thal paid off, we took on Bertox last night for the first time as a guild. He was a mighty foe, thrashing our tanks... ok nm, he wasn't a mighty foe at all. Bertox ring, start to finish in ninety minutes, first time. The highlight had to be the models used on the Kings. Always in search of new content (regardless of whether its 4 expansions old), we did the nasty and cleared NToV in preparation for the Ring of Vulak event. I know, I know, so leet. During the Vulak ring, we had lots of time to have a "who has the most useless crap in their bags" contest, lots of time to do some RL drinking, and lots of time for people to tell a certain raid leader that they had the wrong information for the waves. Taking a night off from our usual targets, Gorilla Warfare's PoP progression begins proper with the death of Terris Thule. I have no idea why I put a Kramer t-shirt on her. But it looks good. And so, after months of hard work, we hit paydirt. Anyone who has ever come face to face with this beast knows what's involved in getting there. The endless timesinks and mindless farming are enough to break up any guild. But all of that was forgotten in the blink of an eye the moment we realized that it was finally Go Time. Fennin Ro being the server that it is, we had more to deal with than keys and banes: we had to face the mindless forces of Team Grief. But today, the Griefers got their due: an AE Translocate. Buh bai. I want to thank all Gorilla Warfare members for their dedication and hard work. It was all so worth it. We'll be done here pretty quick. On other fronts, we've continued to punish the same offenders while adding a few new targets of opportunity to the list, like the Zek boys. Unlike the Duke boys, these two idjits couldn't be more different. One basically falls over and gives you loot, and the other can dismember your raid faster than you can say "got your ears on? come back!". Good 'ol PoP.
